When Is the Next WARDOGS Wipe? Season 3 Date, Reset News, What Carries Over

Bulkhead delayed the Season 3 preview vlog; a 2 November relay reports Season 3 on 12 November with another economy wipe. Official reset scope stays cash and XP.

FAQ

Did WARDOGS Season 2 include a wipe?
Yes — in Bulkhead's own words on developer channels, not in the three Season 2 Steam announcements. CEO Joe Brammer said on X on 2 October 2026 that cash and XP would be wiped this season and cash would convert to gold bars. On 17 October, @WARDOGS said Season 2 was meant to be a fresh start but that the wipe never really landed for many players because progression was intentionally sped up. None of the Steam Preview, Patch Notes, or IS NOW LIVE posts list a wipe entry.
What gets reset in WARDOGS Season 2?
Official (CEO Joe Brammer on X, 2 Oct): cash and XP for the season. Official has not published a line-by-line list of unlocks, paid unlock fees, or inventory. Reported: the in-game PROGRESSION RESETS notice and Gold Exchange panel text (Season 1-era captures on this page) say level progression and cash reset at the end of a major update cycle. Reported (PlayGround.ru relay, 22 Sep): all unlocked items and ranks back to initial state — not confirmed in Bulkhead's own English Steam posts.
What carries over between WARDOGS seasons?
Reported: gold bars and cosmetics bought with them stay on your account across seasons (MetaCounter citing Bulkhead's April 2026 Early Access & Beyond video — we did not re-watch the video; consistent with the in-game popup quoted on this page). Reported: leftover cash auto-converts to gold bars at the daily gold rate (same in-game panel text). Official has not stated conversion rates or amounts for Season 2. Unannounced: whether paid unlock fees or specific items persist.
When is the next wipe or Season 3?
No official date. On 17 October 2026 @WARDOGS said Season 3 and some of its content could come "significantly" forward for a proper fresh start; the promised preview devlog was then delayed (30 October, "to get the information right before committing", per PCGamesN). On 2 November 2026 a PlayGround.ru relay reported Season 3 is due 12 November 2026 with another economy wipe — not confirmed in Bulkhead's English channels, so treat it as Reported. No reset time of day has been announced; Season 2's reset went live inside the announced 08:00–09:30 UTC maintenance window on 15 October (see our update-times page).
Will WARDOGS wipe again this weekend?
No knee-jerk reset — Official (@WARDOGS, 17 Oct 2026): "We won't be doing a knee jerk reset this weekend…" That addresses the immediate weekend after the post; it does not rule out a different reset later or tied to Season 3. No date for any future wipe.
Why did Season 2 not feel like a wipe?
Official (@WARDOGS, 17 Oct): progression was sped up on purpose — a decision Bulkhead later called wrong — so some players reached end-game gear such as Tier 4 armour and main battle tanks within days, and "the wipe never really landed." The official Season 2 patch also lowered Role Track XP thresholds (for example Level 20 cumulative XP: 250,000 → 111,500 per the patch's listed old → new values), which makes re-leveling much faster than Season 1.

Short answer: Bulkhead has not announced an official date for the next wipe. The 17 October 2026 @WARDOGS post said Season 3 could come “significantly” forward for a proper fresh start; the promised preview devlog was then delayed (30 October, “to get the information right before committing”); and on 2 November a PlayGround.ru relay reported Season 3 on 12 November 2026 with another economy wipe — that last part is Reported, not confirmed in Bulkhead’s English channels. What Bulkhead has confirmed about Season 2: it wiped cash and XP (cash converting to gold bars), and many players still did not feel a fresh start because progression was deliberately accelerated. There is no official item-by-item reset list, no published conversion rate or bar count, and we have not verified your account in the client. What follows labels every claim Official, Reported, or Unannounced and links the receipts.

Searchers asking when does WARDOGS wipe want a calendar date, so here is the honest one: no date is official yet — the 12 November figure is a media relay, and the 17 October post promised only a dev vlog, which then slipped. Bulkhead framed the Season 2 reset as part of the season, not a separate announced wipe day, then said the reset did not land for many players. For economy and leveling context after Update 0.2.0, see the Season 2 patch notes hub and the XP leveling guide.

Did Season 2 Wipe Progress?

Yes — on official social, not in the Season 2 Steam patch text.

On 2 October 2026, CEO Joe Brammer replied on X (@Brammflakes) when asked whether the wipe cleared money only or money and levels. His answer, checked against the original post:

“yes cash and XP will be wiped this season, your cash will be converted into gold bars.”

He added that each season would add more persistence to the metagame (skills and “intel”) and that they would talk about that later. That is Official developer-channel wording. It is not copied into the Steam Season 2 Preview (9 October), Patch Notes (14 October), or IS NOW LIVE (15 October) announcements — we re-read those three posts for wipe language and found no wipe entry. That gap matters: you cannot say “Steam confirmed the wipe”; you can say Bulkhead said it on X.

On 15 October 2026, Update 0.2.0 went live after the stated maintenance window (Official — the “SEASON 02 IS NOW LIVE” Steam post, gid 1846651706677015, and Season 2 patch notes, gid 1846651706674560): servers back online, Season 02 live. The patch notes document massive balance and progression changes but, again, no dedicated wipe section.

On 17 October 2026, the official @WARDOGS account posted on X about player experience (Official). Short excerpts:

“Season 2 was meant to be a fresh start, and for a lot of you it hasn’t felt like one.”

”…Some players are reaching end game gear like Tier 4 armour and MBTs within days, so the wipe never really landed.”

Bulkhead said accelerating progression was intentional and, in hindsight, the wrong call. They also wrote:

“We won’t be doing a knee jerk reset this weekend…”

and that instead they were looking at significantly bringing forward Season 3 and some of its content, with more details in a dev vlog next week. No Season 3 date appears in that post.

Why the reset felt weak — official XP curve changes

Even when cash and XP are cleared, re-earning levels is much faster in Season 2 because the official Season 2 patch notes lowered cumulative Role Track XP (Official). Values below are old → new as listed in the Season 2 patch — not in-game measurements:

LevelS1 → S2 (cumulative Role Track XP)Official note
1035,000 → 25,000~29% faster
15110,000 → 54,750~50% faster
20250,000 → 111,500~55% faster
25365,000 → 206,600~43% faster
30500,000 → 318,200~36% faster
35750,000 → 525,000~30% faster
40975,000 → 712,500~27% faster
451,225,000 → 920,850~25% faster
501,500,000 → 1,150,000~23% faster

The patch states that time to reach level 20 is under half what it was in Season 1. That is consistent with @WARDOGS saying players hit Tier 4 armour and MBTs within days. Full tables and role-track unlock moves live on the Update 0.2.0 patch notes page.

The 9 September 2026 Season 1 changelog still provides the long-running official policy line (Official, gid 1843481262690549): “Each season we will have a different XP curve with different item orders.” That implies seasonal progression resets without spelling out cash, unlocks, or gold bars.

Why Did Season 2 Not Feel Like a Fresh Start?

Bulkhead’s 17 October @WARDOGS post on X (Official) names the cause: progression was deliberately accelerated — later called the wrong decision — so some players reached Tier 4 armour and main battle tanks within days, and “the wipe never really landed.” The Season 2 patch reinforces that with lower Role Track XP thresholds (table above) and economy changes documented on the Update 0.2.0 patch notes page.

Reported follow-ups on 16 October: PCGamesN and Rock Paper Shotgun describe Bulkhead on 16 October ending the Lonestar (blue team) exclusive cash / XP bonus experiment, a CEO video saying “We were wrong,” and removal of a Driver progression exploit. Those were policy and backend changes covered by the press — context for why the season felt chaotic, not evidence of a second global wipe.

Replies under the 17 October thread are player sentiment only (for example returning after time away and not noticing a reset) — not evidence.

These assets pre-date Update 0.2.0. They remain Reported evidence for how the client described cycles before Season 2 landed; they do not prove current HUD numbers or S2 conversion math.

Every row in the registry that cites panel wording traces back to the same three sentences community sites quote from the Gold Exchange flow:

“At the end of a major update cycle your level progression and cash will be reset. The date of any major update and progression reset will be announced ahead of time. Any remaining cash at the end of a cycle will be automatically exchanged for gold bars.”

(Community quotation cross-checked 28 September 2026; wording also appears in the PROGRESSION RESETS info popup.)

When Is Season 3 and the Next Wipe?

The arc since Season 2 launched, in dated steps:

  • 17 October (Official) — @WARDOGS on X: no knee-jerk reset that weekend; instead Bulkhead is looking at “significantly” bringing forward Season 3 and some of its content for a proper fresh start, with details in a dev vlog the following week.
  • 16 October (Reported) — PCGamesN and Rock Paper Shotgun cover Bulkhead’s own admission — “We f**ed up”* — that Season 2 got a few things wrong: the Lonestar (blue team) cash / XP bonus experiment backfired and was removed by hotfix, alongside a Driver progression exploit fix.
  • 25 October (Reported) — PCGamesN, from a developer podcast: “We’ve got to slow down” — Bulkhead says it reacted too sharply to feedback and shipped too much too fast in Season 2, and will return to a steadier update pace.
  • 30 October (Reported) — PCGamesN: the Season 3 preview devlog is delayed — Bulkhead wants “to get the information right before committing.”
  • 2 November (Reported) — PlayGround.ru (Russian-language Steam news relay, gid 1847920302247078) reports: Season 3 is due 12 November 2026; the season starts with another economy wipe; Season 3 adds “Primitive” limited servers that gate high-tier gear, heavy tanks, and artillery behind early/mid-game equipment; and exclusive gold cosmetics stay available longer because the current season is shortened. Community manager Brian “L0ssy” McCrann is cited on why the devlog slipped. MMOExp’s English page reports the same four points — but neither is Bulkhead speaking English in its own channels, so all four stay Reported until Bulkhead confirms them.

Bottom line: the only Official statements are “no knee-jerk reset” (17 October), “significantly forward” (17 October), and the delay itself. The 12 November date, the second economy wipe, and the Primitive servers are Reported — consistent across two outlets, but not yet official. Nothing on this page predicts beyond that.

What time does the reset happen?

Bulkhead has not announced a time of day for any Season 3 reset. The Season 2 precedent: the reset went live inside an announced maintenance window — 08:00–09:30 UTC on 15 October 2026, with servers actually back at 09:59 UTC — and the window was published in advance on Steam. When Season 3 gets a date, expect the hour to arrive the same way; our update-times ledger tracks every announced window.

Practical reads (not financial advice):

  • Official reset scope on X is cash and XP, not a published list of unlocks or inventory. Do not assume paid unlocks were wiped unless Bulkhead says so.
  • Reported panel text suggests cash can become gold bars via the daily rate — that is a Reported in-game mechanism, not an official Season 2 rate sheet. We do not encourage hoarding cash or betting on exchange timing; rates moved heavily in Season 1 screenshots above.
  • Skills you keep: map knowledge and role habits survive any number reset — the is WARDOGS worth it guide frames the grind question; the money-making guide tracks Official S2 payout changes where the patch lists them.
  • Forward looking: the roadmap and Season 2 hub tracks jets, pricing, and console windows separately from wipe policy.

How to Verify Yourself

You do not need to trust this page:

  1. Steam news API — https://api.steampowered.com/ISteamNews/GetNewsForApp/v2/?appid=1867240 lists every announcement with gid and UTC time. Compare against the three October Season 2 posts above for wipe wording.
  2. Official X — @WARDOGS and CEO @Brammflakes for wipe policy posts (October 2026). Social posts are Official here but may not match Steam patch text.
  3. In-game Gold Market — open the exchange panel and read the PROGRESSION RESETS / conversion copy on your build. If it differs from the Season 1 captures here, the client wins.

When Bulkhead publishes new wipe language, this registry updates the same day — with the quote attached and the correct source level.
